ASUS DSL-N66U Modem/Router

I would appreciate some help. I have a DSL-N66U modem/router which I have been using since Plusnet upgraded some of their hardware which then wouldn't work with my old Netgear Router.
Since the outage yesterday, it won't connect. The WAN settings are fine, and everything in the house can connect to the network. But the internet light (which I think is behind the black plastic under the 2.4Ghz light and above the DSL light) is not lit.
This suggests to me that the issue is the way in which the kit is connecting to Plusnet (or the data it is using to do so) is at fault. But Plusnet seem to be reluctant to help with any modems that they haven't supplied.
I don't see where the login information for the Plusnet server is stored, and I can't therefore check it. But I have gone into the manual configure part (Quick Internet Setup) and input the login details for Plusnet.
Still nothing......
Any ideas anyone?

Can you log into that one and drop the PPP Internet session first? Then check what your DNS settings are.

Forgive me for being a bit dense, but log into which one? Although I am putting  in the login details, it's not starting a session at Plusnet. It seems to be rejecting at the authentication stage. Since posting, I queued another 76 minutes and the girl on t'other end has raised a fault to that end.
But I don't know why it won't authenticate, and if there was anything else I could try.....
Part of the problem is that there is no single page with all the settings in the ASUS control panel ...

I think I have done what yoy suggested.  I've switched the PPP Setting:Connection field to Connect Manually from Always On. It doesn't seem to have had any effect, though.
So Completed Network Configuration Summary is:

Can you go to System Log at the bottom and post the errors from there?
I have a feeling you'll need to turn the router off for about 30 mins and then it will work.

I don't know why it's got the weird system time - there is no obvious place to reset this.
THis is eveyrthing there. I'll shut it down for 30 minutes and try again.

Thanks for your help. I restarted the router after 30 minutes and nothing is doing.
Got a text from Plusnet saying some time in the next 72 hours.
Been here before, so if you can come up with a god from the machine, I would anoint your head with oil.

Red bull - bizarrely, there is nowhere I can see to override the self-detect values - the router naming doesn't work that way. The WAN values are changeable but not it appears to that extent. And the manual is about as much use as a fart in a spacesuit. I would attach it but for some reason this Android browser won't let me.

Ah, but pepperrell will need to go round to a friends to download it with no connection, unless there's an alternative modem and router that can be used.
But my initial advice would be to contact CSC to make sure that there isn't a stale session that needs killing.
