ASUS DSL-N66U / DSL-AC68U - Information please

I know several fellow Plusnet users use the ASUS DSL-N66U, so Im asking if anyone can please advise me what line stats are available from these routers.
If you can let me know whats via the web GUI and also if any more info is available via the CLI that would be great.
TIA

Re: ASUS DSL-N66U / DSL-AC68U - Information please

Sorry to bump this, but I think it may have got lost amongst the more pressing outage that we had the other night.
Does anyone have any info of what type of line stats you can get please
TIA

Are you using it for fibre, or for ADSL?

Re: ASUS DSL-N66U / DSL-AC68U - Information please

Because I think it is a router only (requiring an external modem) in which case, line stats will be dependant on the connected modem.
EDIT: I'm wrong. The DSL's are of course, modem routers.

Re: ASUS DSL-N66U / DSL-AC68U - Information please

thank you tony for taking the time to reply Smiley

The DSL-N66U is a combined adsl/vdsl modem router.  I believe it has a Media Tek DSL chipset which Im not familiar with,  and I wanted to know how much info they give the EU.

Its the RT-N66U which is router only and still needs the BT Openreach modem to work on FTTC.

Re: ASUS DSL-N66U / DSL-AC68U - Information please

cheers redbull thats most kind of you.  The info Im looking for is particularly if it displays data about the vdsl connection stats.
Im not familiar with its GUI (read I know nada), but I guess what Im looking for may perhaps be found under something like system log -> DSL log -> Link status
.. and if it contains anything more comprehensive than this... which is more aimed at adsl rather than vdsl diagnostics

Re: ASUS DSL-N66U / DSL-AC68U - Information please

I am having this ASUS DSL-AC68U tomorrow. Collected it from pcworld as it cost me only £119.99 (saving £40 off with my pcworld voucher)
@redbull2k14 why did u tick VDSL Profile under 30a multi mode on your screenshot above as Plusnet FTTC is on the 17a multi mode at the moment as BTw FTTC doesnt have profile 30a at present?
