Now, I get double the pings I had before, and my voice keeps cutting out internittently online. I can hear everyone else fine, but mine keeps cutting out - so im pointing the finger at upload issues.
Anyone else experienced this?
Have now tried three different routers, xbox is wired directly to router. Though as the only thing that has changed is moving to ADSL2+, then Im assuming this has caused the issue rather than anything internally. Im guessing that having interleaving turned on wont be helping, but IM getting bored of turning this off in the PN control panel - seems it doesnt raise the request anymore, as there is no ticket raised to turn interleaving off whenever I click it.
I wonder if my profile at PN has been altered at all, as it appears to be a poor gaming connection compared to what Ive experienced in the past.

As for your gaming issues can't comment, pc only gamer. But interleaving will add a fair amount to your basic pings. Currently don't have it enabled and get 25ms outside of any game, it would be 45-50 nonce in game for a uk hosted server and 100-120 in USA. But with interleaving on, that adds a further 25-30ms on top.
So if your connection is stable make sure that its set to Off and not automatic, or it gets turned back on.

Once the disconnections have stopped, we'll be happy to turn interleaving off from here for you.

I had an engineer visit a short while ago due to issues with the broadband and he put the line straight to a new ADSL specific plate, with just one single pair then isolated and sent to one phone socket (that has a filter). He checked the line afterward and advised no errors what so ever.
Ive been synchronising at 12000, and its worked its way up to 15000. During the disconnects last night there was no attempt to raise the SNR, so I can only assume that it was a problem exchange end.
The disconnection on Monday (12th) was me, as I was uncertain as to why wireless performance was not working correctly on one machine, turned out to be a channel issue, but I restarted as thought it may have been a gateway issue at PN.
The disconnects last night were ridiculous, and certainly nothing at my end.
Any chance of having a look and seeing what the connection has been throughout the day? Im keen to get interleaving off, and see if it sorts out this awful upstream error that I think is causing my communications online to suffer.

EDIT - after another drop about 10 minutes later, I decided to swap from my brand new DGN2200 back to my old Belkin. So far no drops since. Still rubbish voice chat online (upstream voice broken, downstream fine), but no disconnects.
Seems my new Netgear was a pointless purchase.

Any ideas what could be causing the issue with voice chat? The only thing that has changed (and it changed at around the same time as the errors started) is moving to 21CN. Prior to that I didnt have a problem online. Good pings, no break up in voice. Now, although I have a much faster download speed, (and upload), the quality of the connection in terms of pings seems quite poor, and Im assuming as I can hear everyone else just fine, and its my voice that breaks up etc - its an issue on the upstream.
Could this be fixed by the removal of interleaving? How long should I expect the connection to be stable for before BT/PN will request interleaving turned off?

The connection itself, other than the disconnects on Tuesday has been fine. Its just this intermittent drop out of voice that is becoming an annoyance. Ive tried a different xbox, different headsets, wired/wireless controllers, different routers, going direct to the router rather than through the switch etc... All have had no effect, and the problems started after I switched to 21cn, or after the engineer visit to fix my line when I had the adsl specific socket fitted. They were within a few days of each ither iirc so could have been either one of those.
Can PN check that im provisioned on the right profile after the move to 21cn? Im wondering if Ive made it onto a profile where gaming traffic is managed at certain times? Just trying to think of anything that could be the issue really.
Thanks for your help Im sure the issue will be found at some point. Ill just have to put up with people thinking Im talking in riddle, and being shot more often than I should on Black Ops for a while until we find it

I've just performed a diagnostic test and BT's IP profile is 12500kbps at the moment and our systems are matching that. In terms of a traffic management profile that's also set to the correct one for the pro add-on that you have.
In my opinion I think we should see how things play out over the next 24-48 hours and see if the connection remains stable. If it does then remove interleaving and see if that has a positive effect on your experience. If the connection is no more stable we could then take a look at it from a faults perspective and deal with that issue for you.
