ADSL2+ DLM Question

Hi.
Had my connection for around a month which DLM quickly dropped to a 3db fast path profile, syncing around 22Mbit with attenuation of 17db.
Last week I tried a new router after which the noise margin rose to 6db and then 9db with interleaving also being applied. This led to a loss of 4Mb download speed.
Not sure why this happened as was careful to avoid multiple disconnects and didn't see any problems on my latency graphs.
I ran router stats for 24 hours and margin didn't vary from 9db by more than 0.2db. No packet loss or latency problems.
Is DLM likely to drop me back to 3db fast path over time or will it require some kind of reset to trigger the process?
Also if I ask for interleaving to be set to off will this interfere with DLM and the lowering of the noise margin?
Called support who offered to switch off 'Interleaving - Auto' but decided to leave things alone for now.
Thanks
Gary

Hi there,
It does look like there were a few more disconnections than the one for the router change:
<img src="http://ccgi.psmith12.plus.com/visradius/generated/image13522074758352.png" />
That'll be what's caused the drops. If the lower SNR is going to be restored it'll be a while, probably best to get the SNR reset but we wouldn't be happy about doing that until we've seen it stay stable for a couple of days. Let us know how it's gone later this week and we'll arrange that for you - we can look at removing interleaving at the same time.

OK. Thanks Matt.
Think all of those were probably me. Also been messing around getting bridging to work on the TG582.
Will leave well alone now and come back to you in a few days.

Hi Matt.
Would you be able to arrange the SNR reset now?
You should see 2 drops on the line since my last post.
One when DLM switched me back to fast path on the 7th and one where I rebooted my firewall and lost the PPPoE session on the 9th.
Does this restart the line training and can I expect a drop back down to 3db all being well?
Thanks
Gary

Thanks Adam.
I can see a resync has taken place. I'll take a look when I get home.

Took a while for me to report back but was waiting to see what happened with the line just in case DLM works over periods of months
I was expecting a drop back down to 3db however the line has remained on 6db since the reset from which it never seems to vary by more than 0.2db.
Is there any way to trigger a drop back down to 3db?
My other slower line sits quite happily at this level.
Current stats for the line are:
