ADSL1 on 21CN?

Hello, can anyone help please?
I currently have a speed fault logged with PN support.  I think its a problem with my Draytek Vigor 2800g router and adsl2+ compatibility.  The connection does not stay stable for 2 or more days, and I have a banded profile applied to me due to this.  I have tried different firmware for the draytek router but none seems stable.  I have been sent a Thomson 585 to try which has been stable.  I can only get 5mb / 6mb max (which I am happy with) where I live, what im asking is can I go back to adsl1 on 21CN? so I can use my draytek, as it has a USB port for my printer, and the Thomson does not.  And I dont really want to buy a new router as I was fine before I moved to 21CN. or do I need to go back to dslmax so I can use the draytek for a stable connection?
Any ideas/ suggestions
Thanks very much

HI FatP,
If you're dead set about using that router then if you wanted to go back to ADSL1 I'm sure we could arrange it; unless any of our fine forum members can think of anything to help.

Re: ADSL1 on 21CN?

At a slower speed, such as 5Mb you are likely to be on ADSL2, which uses the same bandwidth as ADSL1.
It may even be an identical product.
ADSL2+ uses twice the bandwidth.

Re: ADSL1 on 21CN?

Thanks for the comments!
Im defo on ADSL2+ -
WBC 1M - 3M No delay (INP 0) 6dB Downstream, 448 No delay (INP 0) 9dB Upstream (ADSL2+)
I have emailed draytek tech support to see if they have anything to say about the unstable Vigor 2800 on ADSL2+, but I maybe back to ADSL1
