ADSL or ADSL2

Hi,
Could someone from Plusnet tell me whether I'm on an ADSL or ADSL2+ connection?  My router says Annex A which I thought was ADSL although I believe my exchange is ADSL2+enabled.  I get a stately 3.5Mbps on speedtest so any boost would be welcome.
Thanks,

Simon

Re: ADSL or ADSL2

Hi Simon,
Your connection is ADSL1, ADSL2+ is available however your speed estimate for that is also 3.5mb which is why we haven't upgraded you as there'd be little point to be honest with you.
PS Not sure if you've noticed but your exchange is due to get an upgrade to fibre so you should be able to get that sometime in June.

Re: ADSL or ADSL2

Ditto, I have a 585 v7 and the FAQ implies it will be ok but  router reports G.992.1 annex A not G.992.5
Can someone clear this up pls.
Thanks

Re: ADSL or ADSL2

sorry, re-read FAQ and looks like I am being thick. presumably it will change to 992.5 when I get connected to ADSL2+?
