ADSL filter

I have an open reach master socket at the moment. However, I’d ideally like to re-fit the one gang telephone socket as this matches the other sockets in the house.
Is it possible to connect the router to this socket using an ADSL filter?

Re: ADSL filter

You have to have the master socket for your connection via OPENREACH to work;
you can run extensions off via appropriate cable, but master socket must stay live.

Re: ADSL filter

@mitch123406  Do you mean you have a filtered faceplate attached to the master socket with a phone and DSL socket? You can put the original single phone socket faceplate back and use a plug in filter. If sounds like you have other phone extensions connected so this can cause serious broadband problems as they would no longer be filtered. That's the whole point of a filtered faceplate, to isolate the Broadband signal from all the extension sockets.  What's the problem with one socket that looks a bit different, you can't see them all at the same time can you?😀
