Hi,
Connection went offline around lunchtime today, and refuses to reconnect. Initially the internet light went red, upon resetting it's totally off.
Broadband light is on as it has sync with the exchange so I am guessing alls well with the line.
Reported the fault and it could be 48 hours just to hear back? that seems an insanely long time for what seems to be an authentication error. If anyone could look into this I would appreciate it as don't particularly want to be without internet for the weekend.

Thanks,
Ben.

Hi Ben,
I take it that you have checked the account details in the router? Which one is it? If its the TG582n this page - http://192.168.1.254/cgi/b/is/_pppoa_/dt/?be=0&l0=2&l1=2&name=Internet (login required) - will display the relevant details and ought to indicate the nature of the problem. Also look at the logs here - http://192.168.1.254/cgi/b/events/?be=0&l0=1&l1=2

In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for the reply - It seemed to automatically reconnect about 7 hours after the initial report.
I'd say some sort of authentication error at PNs end.
I tried two different routers, one of the routers in bridge mode and my Raspberry PI to make the pppoe connection just to rule out it being the equipment.
