ADSL activation?

I am already being charged for the service, why do I have to wait so long for my broadband to
simply be turned on? BT have sorted their end and the line works.
The routers here and ready it even got online for a split second somehow?
But my account shows it isn't turned on yet.
Could I have my broadband activated so I can use it for the period I am paying for please?

Hi,
The order isn't due to complete for another week. I can enable your account at this side, but I very much doubt you'll be able to connect. Also doing this will guarantee you being billed from today rather from the actual confirmed order completion date as provided to us by BT.

Isn't there a way you can see if it will work fully if activated now without us being charged?

Then if it does work, go ahead and activate it. I don't mind paying from now if I have the service.

No, we've just got the order from BT I think which will say Committed or Closed. I'm happy to switch it on for you, but you'll need to raise me a ticket and provide the ticket number here.
