ADSL Connection dropping all evening since around 5pm today.....

....typing this on my work PC.
Never had this problem before in the months I have been using this D Link Wireless router.
Line keeps dropping and I have to manually reconnect. Line drops again within minutes.
Is anyone else having this problem tonight? I'm near the south coast 20 miles west of Brighton.
Plusnet, do you currently have an issue with ADLS connections? Anyone know if there are any BT problems in this area?
Any advice on this would be appreciated. Have tried rebooting router with no luck.

PJ offers very good advice of which I cannot add anything to.
Sorry to hear of the problems that you have been experiencing, but I would suggest that you follow PJ's suggestions and raise a fault via http://faults.plus.net if you continue to experience difficulties.

Many thanks for the good advice.
Was totally shattered last night but left the router unplugged overnight.
Router config screen was rather weird. Sometimes I could get in and manually reconnect (which only lasted a few minutes) and other times it would just not let me in the screen.
Powered up this morning and it appears to be working fine. (so far)
Not had any weather problems around the area where I live but have copied your advice for future ref.
