£9.99 a month and getting charged £20.

I signed up for the 1gb @ 8meg service and I'm getting charged £20 a month for going over the 1gb limit.
I thought because it was down to 128k it was free there after, saw nothing telling me I would get additional charges when I signed up and its now cost me £40 for 2 months  Angry
Think I would rather have used the Virgin unlimited broadband now  Angry

Re: £9.99 a month and getting charged £20.

On the BBYW accounts you either get the choice for a fixed price product, this restricts you to 128k after you reach the allowance. Alternatively you can pay per GB after your allowance, this is the option you selected.
You were sent emails and messages through the member centre for each additional GB you used. If you want to switch to the fixed cost option for future months you can do this through the member centre.

Just to add to my previous reply, the link to make this change can be found here:-

You may want to consider switching to one of the higher BBYW offerings if you need the same amounts of usage each month.

So with the fixed amount I will just be cut off after I reach the amount I choose.

When you reach the allowance you will be restricted to  128k, you can set the allowance to different amounts depending on what your needs are for that month.
