582n and port forwarding

Hi,
Hopefully I'm missing something obvious here...
I used to have adsl with a speedtouch 585. I had port 80 forwarded to a web server on my network - it all worked externally. I've previously had mail and ftp forwarded as well, so I thought I knew what I was doing Smiley
I'm now on fibre with a technicolor 582n. The port forwarding UI looks exactly the same ("game and app sharing"). I've got port 80 forwarded to the same machine yet it doesn't work externally.
I may well have turned the firewall off on the 585 but I don't really want to have to do that now. I only want to forward the one port to the webserver.
Any guesses as to what I've not done?
Thanks,
Ric

Re: 582n and port forwarding

These 582's are notorious for NOT forwarding the ports you ask for. If you search on here you will find MANY people with the same issues.
