Trying to access webmail through college has been throwing up an error

Using IE7 on Windows XP Professional, is it my computer or a bad link?

The webmail login page is https://webmail.plus.net/src/login.php and works for me, as does the secure portal link in your post. This is with IE7 on XP Home SP3.
Does your college computer allow SSL (https) connections?

Yep, I click the link on the main page (http://portal.plus.net) for Webmail, it throws up the 400 error, I click the https link and I go through to the webmail system.
