3 to 5 days to change IP Profile

I have not been on these forums for a while and not had a reason to contact PN Customer Services for a while.

So the online live chat was not available, so I called CS to report PN has my IP Profile set wrong.

The 'hidden page' showing my the PN value of current line speed is set to 0.2Mb, I am connected at 5.8Mb and a BTW Speedtest tells me the IP profile should be 5.6Mb.

I have just got off the phone with CS who tell me a senior faults person needs to look at this issue, it could take 3 to 5 days. They have no idea about the 0.2Mb number, not something they could see on my account details.

In the past, this is something sorted within 5 mins either by Live Chat or a Phone Call.

Please see ticket 171446174 if anybody from PN sees this post and can help?

@Mav,

What appropriate board? Please tell us so that it is easier for us to follow the thread rather than spending time hunting for the "appropriate board".

Unless of course you want to be awkward.

@Mav,

At least @dvorak is kind enough to tell us where he has moved the post to!!!

He's moved it to the board you are currently looking at hence 'This thread is now in the appropriate board' Grin

@Browni, Thanks.

At least @Mav could be clearer by saying the post has been moved this board or that effect!!

Re: 3 to 5 days to change IP Profile

Yup, thanks for moving the post.

I am not at home, I can see from my office PN are doing something, no update on my ticket yet though.

This use to be solved by a 5 minute call to CS.

Re: 3 to 5 days to change IP Profile

Since the introduction of the new network the line rate setting isn't applicable to the vast majority of users so if you've spoken with a newish member of staff there is a good chance they've never heard of it.

Re: 3 to 5 days to change IP Profile

Hi there and welcome back to the community.

I can see the adviser you spoke to raised a fault with our suppliers as our testing identified a possible profile mismatch on the line itself. It looks like you've contacted us again and we've adjusted the speed profile on your account to 6mbps.

How have your speeds been since then?
