I just moved over to Plusnet ADSL and dumped BT fibre. Its been over 15 days and the speed has settled to a mind boggling, super duper 2.1 MBPS
Can any geniuses here tell me if it is worth calling PlusNet at all? or should i buy a decent router off the shelf? suggestions plz

Please provide the information requested here http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,96155.0.html
Also is the speed 2.1 megabytes per second (MBps) or 2.1 megabits per second (Mbps)
If the former that may not be too bad

Your line is looking nice and stable
Is your router plugged into the master socket without any extension leads being in use?
The loop loss is suggesting your line is pretty long, which goes against the estimates somewhat.
