Exchange was due for an upgrade. It may have happened this morning (looking at my stats). My Billion 7800N broke so I am back on my Linksys WAG54GS (v.1 I think); I don't think this router is ADSL2 compatible.
The Billion had a much higher attenuation (+5) than the WAG but also had a very marginally better dl; as all I ever read is higher attenuation is worse it is a little confusing.
Sooooo the question is, which router should I look at next?
Opinions if you care to share!
I'm not interested in the Thompson thank you!!!
[edit]
I can't attach my line stats as an acceptable type right now. ADSL2 framing is mentioned which wasn't there last time I looked. My D SNR is lower than usual- usually around 9.

With that reported attenuation you will be on ADSL1 as is shown by the router stats so unless you really want to buy a new router I wouldn't bother as you are most unlikely to see any improvement
Note that for your attenuation your speeds are very good
