21CN Migration

Is there a a guide to the Plusnet procedures for 21CN Migration? - bearing in mind that at the moment my line is connected at a down speed of 1600 Kbps.
Samknows shows my exchange, Seal, NDSEA as having 21CN WBC RFS date as  31st March, but the Plusnet user tools say: "BT have advised that no current planned date for WBC on 21CN exists."  Which is right?

Re: 21CN Migration

i would guess at that speed you would be given the advice to go onto adsl1 but on the 21cn system

I have to take a strong drink whenever I find the Plusnet information is up to date! SamKnows will be right.

Hi machare,
I'd pop your number in the BT Availability Checker, it's only when it's in there can we place orders for it.

Re: 21CN Migration

Well that says:
"Our test also indicates that your line currently supports an estimated ADSL2+ broadband line speed of 1Mbps; typically the line speed would range between 1Mbps and 3.5Mbps.
The actual stable line speed supportable will be determined during the first 10 days of use. This speed may change over time, to ensure line stability is maintained."
The spreadsheet says 21CN is due between 1st and 31st March.

Re: 21CN Migration

I think if the availability checker gives an adsl2+ speed then it is already available.

Re: 21CN Migration

Unless it also says "Your exchange is planned to have ADSL2+ by *date in the future*" as mine does.

Re: 21CN Migration

Well it does not say that. But BT Retail say that ADSL2+ is not available.

Re: 21CN Migration

Did you do the lookup using your phone number or using the postcode?
