135kb profile :(

I wadded a filter that turned out to be faulty & after a few disconnections my ip profile has dropped to 135kb (usally 16mb)
I know that normally you wait for BT to push it back up but this never seems to happen for me even with an increase as large as this one
I normally wait a few days only to have to get the faults team to look at it anyway (stuck profile)
Is it possible to open a fault ticket for stuck profile & if by chance it does increase before Plusnet faults team get to it I will close the ticket
At least this way I won't have to wait so long if it doesn't return to 16mb by itself

I'm confused, I thought it was my BT Ip profile that was the problem?
I just did the first part of a BT speed test & it says my IP Profile is still 135kb.
Do you mean restart my router or pc?

I'm guessing you can'tdo anything at the moment because of the supplier problems you mentioned in another thread?

My IP Profile is now 15mb
Did you fix it or did it go back by itself?
I thought it was down to BT to change their IP Profile & Plusnet could only get them to move on it if the profile became 'stuck'
Has something changed that now enables you to change their profile?

Hi sammieblue,
We can't change profiles, we have to request that, but when I ran diagnostics it showed a failure on one of the tests which I was able to rectify. It doesn't always take effect straight away but I can only assume when it had cleared through their systems you then seen the difference.
