135k IP Profile for more than 24 Hours

Hey all.
I've recently had some issues with my line - long story short - BT engineer visited and sorted by 12 midday yesterday.
Problem is, whilst my sync is now back at a rock solid 4064k, My IP profile seems stuck fast at 135k Sad  According to http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/IPprofile.htm#Adaptive_Max_Logic I should have seen an IP profile change in around 4 hours, as 3500/135 *100 = 2592% increase.
Any chance someone at PN can kick off IP profile change for me please.... pretty please  Wink  Cheers
- Chris

Attached is a BT speedtest result for perusal....
Do I need to raise a ticket?

Have you been connected continuously with no router reboots?

Re: 135k IP Profile for more than 24 Hours

Just 1 router forced reboot (reboot via the router config), bang on the 24hour uptime mark (midday today).  Was more of a hopeful user initiated reboot than a line drop / resync event / etc

Hi chall,
You only raised this a a question rather than a fault. I have now passed this over to the faults team for you.

Re: 135k IP Profile for more than 24 Hours

OK so finally BT speed tester now reports correct IP profile for my line: 3500.  I'm assuming that as no one from PN has posted in this thread or contacted me via my ticket that the IP profile change was automatically sanctioned on my line by BT.
Next problem:  Plusnet's "Current line speed" setting at https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed is still wrong, so throughput is still dire.
So what now? Do I have to raise another ticket?  Who's palm do I need to grease to get that to happen?  Come to think of it, I'm regularly greasing Plusnet's palm on a monthly basis, and so far what has been done by PN to help me with all of this?
Please don't all shout at once.....

Ring & ask them to match the IP Profile now that it has updated.

Re: 135k IP Profile for more than 24 Hours

Grin Once the BT profile has changed, it normally takes 24 hrs for the PN profile to automatically change. Reading through other threads, it seems there has been some problems with this on the odd account and therefore the occasional 'kick' has been required by PN.
IMHO the ticketing system isn't all that great, but as you know is needed. These forums are not monitored (officially) at the weekends by PN staff so it will be monday morning before the likes of JoJo interacts..  Hopefully by then you will already have had the auto change in the PN profile..
