Since Good Friday, my broadband has been dire. Strange as I haven't changed a thing. I've spoken to BT and they say the line is fine. I've physically disconnected all extensions and have just the router plugged into the master socket. I have 3 splitters, one of which is new and have tried all 3. All virus protection is on and up to date with no rogue processes running anywhere.
This morning the speed I get hovers around 110 kbps. Before Easter the norm was about 950 kbps.
I, like other PN users, have raised a ticket and received only the automated responses, no investigation as yet.
So am I to assume that the heady days of 0.9 mbps are long gone and that dialup speeds are the future.
