(104) connection reset by peer

Hi guys, since yesterday I've had problems accessing a website. I get a read error which states '(104) connection reset by peer'. I've tried resetting my history and cookies and this doesn't work.
Can anyone please help? Thanks

Did it look like this:
Quote
The following error was encountered:
    Read Error
The system returned:
    (104) Connection reset by peer
An error condition occurred while reading data from the network. Please retry your request.

I was on 195.166.130.205 (ptw-bng02?) when I got the above message.
You could try logging into your router, clicking disconnect, then clicking connect a few seconds later, to connect to a different Plusnet gateway. Or wait for Plusnet to sort out their IWF cache, which might not get looked at until Monday, if that's even where the problem is.

Re: (104) connection reset by peer

That's exactly it!
I don't mean to sound stupid but how do log into my router? I don't have a PC or a laptop. I just use my Iphone.
Thanks!

Re: (104) connection reset by peer

If it's one of the Plusnet routers, go to:
http://192.168.1.254
The login username and password are usually on the label on the back or bottom of the router.

Re: (104) connection reset by peer

Yeah its not your end - its at ISP end for sure. Youll just have to wait it out or kick up a fuss if it goes on much longer as theres no good reason for it being blocked. Meanwhile you can use this - https://www.proxfree.com/

Re: (104) connection reset by peer

Got the same problem. I turned off safeguard which theoretically should have worked but didn't. Reset the router, flushed the DNS but nothing has worked. Don't want to use a proxy for browsing. Plusnet sort it out.
Anyone want to suggest anything else can be done?

If you're talking about the website I think you are, then we're aware and engineers are looking into it.

Pushing for a fix this week, might not be until towards the end of the week though I'm afraid.

Well, at least it could be amusing if this makes The Register.
