Re: 10% packet loss 8th March 17

Hmmm

I am surprised (and disappointed) at the lack of any response from PlusNet and the fact that the packet loss is continuing.

The pessimistic scenario is that PlusNet are not concerned about the packet loss 😞

I really hope this is a temporary blip/fault and I do not have to keep jumping gateway/end points to avoid packet loss.

Re: 10% packet loss 8th March 17

I had enough of the packet loss and dropped the PPP session.

Reconnecting to PSB-BNG04 removed the packet loss immediately.

Snapshot of my thinkbroadband ping graph is attached.

Was the packet loss affecting everything, or just to/from the thinkbroadband ping monitor?

I was getting 4% to 8% packet loss when pinging www.bbc.co.uk.
