Hi,
Years ago i setup my Mum's internet for her and everything has been fine.
Since last month she is no longer able to stream anything on her TV like Iplayer or ITV.
I started looking into it and found that her Minimum guaranteed speed was 0.392Mb.
Obviously this is way too low to stream anything.
Anyone got any ideas why this is so low? It was previously 10Mb.
I'm going to contact Plusnet in the morning.
Thanks

Sounds like a line fault, also an ADSL service.
In the first instance, use the faults bot using a mobile phone associated with the account.
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

Are you able to post the router line stats please? Sync speeds and SNRM.
This looks like ADSL with a fault. Is there a dial tone on the line?

A suggestion to the OP - make the details available as attachments, rather than 'in post' entries - that way we don't have to wait for them to 'be released'.

Thanks for the image.
Full Fibre is available so that would sort any speed issues. It would mean losing the landline if this matters.

From what you have said, it looks like a fault. So get that sorted out. When her contract is over, look at going fttp, there is an issue of the landline which would, if she wants to keep the line, needing to be moved to voip.
With fttp, you sign up for an 80mbits service - thats what you sync to, with only demand ever changing the speed - at 80mbits/s it should only ever vary a little.
Lots of help are available here, at thinkbroadband and ispreview as well for the voip move.

And FTTP is available.
Not only available, but its a Fibre priority exchange and so any change of Product or ISP must be to Full Fibre(FTTP)

@krusty With FTTP, you sync at whatever speed you order - do PN even offer an 80mb/s option - I know my ISPs minimum is 100?
