0.2mbit/s download speed

did anyone else suffer from this initially? i have only just signed up so willing to wait a week or so. logged the problem yesterday but no response from plusnet yet.
heres what i've tried:
2 routers
new filter
master socket
new phone cable
adls/adsl2 and adsl2+ in router settings
manually entering dns servers and auto finding them
i'm pretty sure i'm getting throttled but no idea why. 
any help would be appreciated. Smiley

If you are in the 10 day training period then I wouldn't be doing anything until that's complete.

ok. do you know what adsl type i should be trying? adsl2 or adsl2+?

I can see that your connection is dropping a lot at the moment, this has caused a lowering of the IP profile and hence the slow speeds.
I can see you've raised a fault ticket with us so we just need to wait and see how things go with the fault investigation. Once we've fixed the underlying problems with disconnnections the speeds should return back towards your original estimate.

ok so what adsl type should i use? i have no idea what the line supports.

ADSL 2 would seem to be appropriate for your line.

my lines been active for more than 10 days now and i'm still getting 0.2mbit/s download.  can i have a my line checked please?

tried tha. asks me to login and then i get this message:
"Thanks, you've given us all the information we need to investigate your problem".
is this supposed to do something?

can you re-start the 10 day line training period please? i didn't set the router to auto from the start, not sure if that will make a difference. my download speed has been slowing creeping down from 1.7 to 0.69 mbit/s. cheers

you had a reply on the 22nd to say your fault is being investigated, they are not likely to reset it while they are doing that, have you checked your tickets?
