different number shows when I dial out

Couldn't get SJphone working on my plusnet account so loaded x lite and worked straight away sort of. I can call out OK but my PSTN Number allocated by Plusnet doesnt show to the receiver a totally different beginning 0560 does. If I ring that number or my PSTN number I get a message the number is not recognised (0560) or the number is not compatible or the service cannot be connected on PTSN number.
Have got a Linksys DG 834GT router which I've enabled services on ports below and firewall to allow
        1    SIP UAS   5060 - 5061
2 SPA 2 16384 - 16482
3 STUN 3478 - 3479
4 VOIP TRIAL 5082
5 SIP 2 5060
6 H323 1719
7 RS         1812
8 MLP 5002
        9 NEIGH 5003
Any ideas how to sort?

Re: different number shows when I dial out

If you go into your voip control panel and look at extension details...
What does the 'Outbound number' show as ?
I suspect there is a configuration issue with your account and a call to CSC is probably in order to get it sorted.

Re: different number shows when I dial out

An 0560 number is an internally assigned one and cannot be removed or changed. It's used as part of the ability to dial 999.
The cause of what you are seeing is down to a problem with your account which cannot be fixed by our support team.
I can see you have a ticket open already and as such, will raise it with our suppliers to investigate.
