You're running low on calling credit! / 0800 numbers

Just had four mails to tell me I have 50p credit
Also should 0800 numbers be available... they just seem to ring and ring

Re: You're running low on calling credit! / 0800 numbers

I used 0800 number yesterday with no problems... so in answer to you question no they should not just ring and ring. As for the emails about running out of credit when you have 50p left, plusnet are going to up the automated credit warnings on our accounts to £1.00, so we will all stop getting the email warnings. They are very annoying  Angry

Cheers for that... strangely 0800 are working today... perhaps it was a problem on my client

And when I dial 0800 xxxxxx numbers, I still get a very nice German lady telling me: "Keine Verbindung unter diese Telefon Nummer".
But if I dial 0044 800 xxxxxx I am connected correctly!

Fred: I've heard that once before in these forums, and think it was down to an incorrect setting in the client.  It might be worth a look through this forum to see if you can find what it was.

Fred - are you using an AVM Fritz box? If so theres a german dial plan in there which causes the nice german ladies voice to appear - i'll try and dig out the thread....

We have a contact at AVM who was kind enough to post on this thread with regards to this issue:

Have you been through the advise provided?

Re: You're running low on calling credit! / 0800 numbers

Thanks for the update. Somehow, auto notify didn't and I hadn't realised they had contributed. When I tried to raise the issue direct with AVM, I was told they didn't want to know, because I had a "Legacy Product". The non-wireless version.
I'll go back to the other thread then.
