Wengophone - anyone got this working?

I've installed it, entered all the account details but it doesn't connect. It also hasn't fired up a ZoneAlarm alert to connect to the internet so I don't think it has even tried.

I'd go for XLite v2 if I was you - v3 seems to have quite a few bugs in which has caused some trouble previously. Using XLite v2 helped me resolve my outbound audio issue on incoming PSTN calls..

Xlite V2 - is that the one where the options dialog sucked with a font so small you couldn't read it?

I would say it was on the small side but once you've got the settings right you wont have to go back in there again!
Give it a try - if it doesnt solve your problems then you can switch back  Cool

I haven't tried Wengophone on the trial (I haven't had time to get on the trial yet, nevermind experiment with different phones  Sad ), but I've got it running happily on the old Plustalk platform if that's any help.
From what you say, it sounds as if your problem is independent of whichever service you are trying to connect to.

Re: Wengophone - anyone got this working?

I also tried Wengophone and I tried lots of different settings. but without luck. In the end, I gave up. I've ended up with X-Lite, the earlier version (v2). Its fine if you want VOIP on your PC or to test your SIP account, but I don't use it much; I'd really prefer to hook VOIP into a phone off my router.
