Voicemail - Difference Between *1 and 185

I am reading the instructions for voicemail to set this up.  It looks like I have the option to dialling either *1 or 185.
Each seem to take me to a different place.  Anyone know what is the difference?

PS When I log on through 185 I don't seem to get past the logon (using SIP ID and password from voip.plus.net)

Eventually it will take you to the same place. The mailbox is your Sip Id and the password is the pin for your mailbox. If you do not know this you can find in by logging on to your account at voip.plus.net.

Thanks for that.
Also got it working via 185.  I had only recently changed my voicemail pin and so guess it must take a short time to refresh it....
