VOIP via Linksys WAG120N

Hi, Got a problem that is driving me mad!! Have got a Linksys WAG120N router and Grandstream Budgetone 100 connected to it. It has been working fine but just recently the IP connection on the phone just suddenly dissappears and I lose dial tone  Sad Sometimes this is resolved by rebooting the router but this does not work all of the time. I've tried putting a fixed IP on the phone with no difference and it is currently back on DHCP. Any ideas anyone?

Sounds like either the Grandstream or the Linksys may be faulty. Have you got another router you could try (I guess you've not got another ATA!) to eliminate that ?

Hi

Most Grandstream owners seem to have problems with a dud power supplies.  My Grandstream GXP2020 kept losing its connection did some strange things switching on all its led light
and kept trying to re-boot itself so I got a new power supply

Be careful  on the voltage amps and polarity  etc.
I hope this solves your problem
