VOIP - nat.plus.net - expiring every 25 seconds

Hi,
I'd like to stop my PlusNet VOIP account from timing out every 25 seconds. It's annoying for the people at the other end cos they just get a single beep every 25 seconds & lose a word or two. Hence I'm frequently asking them to repeat things, so it's just basically annoying!
I've tried lots of "Expiry time" settings, but none change the 25 secconds "expiry time". I have a Draytek Vigor 2800VG, with a DECT phone plugged into VOIP 1. I have 2 accounts; SIPGATE and PlusNet. The SIPgate account only reregisters every 600 seconds. The PlusNet account refuses to change to anything but 25 seconds.
Anyone had this problem and fixed it?
Settings are:

Act as outbound proxy      "unticked"

Authentication ID            "unticked" & not used
Password:                        "not used"
Expiry Time:                      1 hour    "but I've tried every setting"
NAT Traversal Support    None
Ring Port:                            VoIP1

OK - fixed it eventually.
Changed to sip.plus.net for both servers & port 5060.
Now set to 1800 seconds  - fine. Annoying beep gone. Yeehah!

Re: VOIP - nat.plus.net - expiring every 25 seconds

Yes, 'nat.plus.net:5082' is the outbound proxy. It is used for NAT traversal and probably uses a keepalive timer of 25 seconds. Your router is designed for Voip and  should have a decent SIP ALG inbuilt and therefore does not need any NAT traversal ( the ALG will do it ). Hence you should only need the domain and proxy (registrar) , with both set to sip.plus.net.
Glad you got it sorted though, Its all very confusing isnt it ?.
Actually I'm a bit surprised you dont need anything in the 'authentication id' and 'password' fields ?

Re: VOIP - nat.plus.net - expiring every 25 seconds

just looked at your setting I think plusnet should put an e-mail stating nobody should be using sip2.plus.net anymore.  it was only to be used while plusnet voip was in beta testing.  Sip2 will be switched off soon.
