Speedtouch 780WL CNFR+CFU??

Im trying to see if its possible to set up a speedtouch 780wl to forward unanswered calls to an altyernative number ( call forwarding)
the instyruction book that came wityh the router was/is woefuly inadequate.
Under call forwarding theres the following options:
CFNR - timer: ( set to 10 - ten what ,seconds? muinutes? what? )
CFNR - destination:
CFU - destination:
CFBS - destination
What are CFNR, CFU, and CFBSHuh theres no mention whatsoever in the instructions, and searching google reveals verry little.

Re: Speedtouch 780WL CNFR+CFU??

Found following on Broadbandbuyer web site.  Hope it helps.
CFNR Timer  - Call Forward No Reply after 10 somethings (probably rings)
CFNR Destination - Call Forward No Reply
Do not know what difference is between Destination and Timer -perhaps with Timer you can set number of rings before divert (to give you a chance to answer based on how quick you are!!) whereas with Destination there is a default number of rings
CFU Destination - Call Forward Unconditional - Suspect this means will always call forward every call
CFBS Destination - Call Forward on Busy
My manual does not even mention call forwarding or how to do it.
Neither does option appear on setup pages but then as per my recent posting I do not even have the option to withhold my number when dialling out!

Re: Speedtouch 780WL CNFR+CFU??

The manual isnt exactly useful, although that seems to be standard practice amongst things now a days.
to get to the call forwarding i did this
from the main home page of the router, click on Toolbox,
then telephony,
then Configure
By the  "User Name URI Display Name Abbr. Number Port Registered "  list click on edit ( blue text link)  by the side of the active phone account nuumber
you will see a prompt for Sip URI username and password, these boxes should be filled in if everything is set up and working.
underneath all that under pick a task, click on View telephony services.
you should see a list of activiation codes for various things
Next under pick a task, click on Configure in the top menu.
then values can be addeed for CFNR and so on.
Thanks for the explanation, hope this info was/is useful to you.

I have these settings in my Speedtouch 716wl router too but have never used them
Do you put the forward telephone number  in CFNRbox? Is it that easy?
