Recovery Firmware message Cisco SPA112 ATA

I'm getting the message
Recovery Firmware v1.0.2 (001)
Please select a file to upgrade the firmware :

from my SPA112 this morning. I am trying to feed it the file SPA112_SPA122_1.2.1-004_FW.bin which is what I already had on it, using Firefox. It seems to upgrade, reporting

Upgrade is successful.

You will be returned to the Setup page after several seconds.

then reboots and comes up with a browser address of
http://0.0.0.0/index.asp

and when I try to access it on it's DHCP obtained address it goes back to asking for a firmware again. I've tried the reset button, both with a short and a very long press.

The device is only a few weeks old.

Please help with any pointers. (Can you hear the note of desperation in my voice? lol!) Wink

Thanks!

Re: Recovery Firmware message Cisco SPA112 ATA

This was resolved on the advice of Cisco support.
Feeding it an earlier version of the firmware (1.1.0) got it talking again and that allowed me to revert back to the latest, 1.2.1.
