Re: Re: Google Phone

Hi Kamakura and welcome to the forums..
I split your post out and put it in a more appropriate forum for you Smiley
I don't have a 200 but an older 100 that I have working OK.
What are your your sip server settings and your outbound proxy set to?
they should be sip.plus.net and natproxy.plus.net:5082, your password is also case sensative.

Re: Google Phone

There's a screen dump of the BT100 ( looks like the BT200 is similar! ) settings in this thread http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,57674.msg471302.html#msg471302 if it helps, although it has the old settings for sip server & proxy and you need to replace them with the new ones as posted by Adie.

Re: Google Phone

@kamakura,
Does you voip control panel ( voip.plus.net ) show you as being online ? that will check whether your BT200 is registering ok.
If you login to your account from the control panel and go to 'account overview' it should show something like this
Quote
Broadband Phone 120 2007-11-28 07:58:02 01260 2xxxxxx 8xxxxxx (Ext) online until 2010-01-10 14:01:42

If that shows online then can I suggest you check your voip account using a softphone like SjPhone or X-Lite, if not then it looks like your BT200 is either not configured correctly or is faulty.

Re: Google Phone

Hello everyone i have managed to finally get my grandstream budgetone 200 configured.
i have also made a few test calls and everything is working fine now the audio is very clear too.
the only small issues iam sometimes experiencing are when i sometimes try to use the phone iam getting error codes on the lcd.
these error codes are 488 and a busy tone and also occasionally 304.
so what i have been trying is to reboot the grandstream budgetone 200 and leave it for a few minutes this seems to cure the problem.
i really appreciate everyones replies to my question its reassuring to know that there are people who want to help you.
if anyone ever needs any help with their laptop or desktop just message me and i will do what i can to help you.
cheers kamakura.

Re: Google Phone

Error code 488 'Not Acceptable Here' is usually down to a codec error. Try disabling any codec's other than G.711a,u and G.729 as they are the only ones supported by the Plusnet(Gradwell) voip system. Code 304 is an odd one but, I believe, can also be codec related...
