Random Cut outs

As this has not been posted before, could you please give some advice.
The calls are clear but will cut out after 12 secs on some calls or 20 mins on others and there are times when I can not be heard at all?
I have done the voip test last night and got a score of 2.3. Pinged the gradwell and it would time out on 4096 but gave these readings  on 1400

The set up is Panasonic DETC phone Linksys Adapter  Linskys WAG3546
Checked the exchange and got a Green signal
Have checked the settings on the adapter 3 times and are all correct.
When it works it is clear and no delay but it is so unreliable

Re: Random Cut outs

Have you tried turning the 'use preferred codec' option on screenshot 3?
Another thing to try would be to make the same calls using XLite and see if that makes any difference. Your line settings all look good to me (confirmed with one of our CSC analysts), I dont think noise on the line or limited bandwidth would be coursing any problems.

Re: Random Cut outs

Sorry to be a pain.
Just done a Voip test and got a score of 4.2 to Sydney!! and a 1.2 to LondonHuh?? The London one was 1.2 out and 3.8 back, so it must be this end?
Now I am confused.
Ping test 1400 to Gradwell  108/60/81/62
Still times out on 4096
any ideas?

Re: Random Cut outs

puddy - Im not really too sure how I can help you here - we do not fully support all types of hardware, we can only give you advice based on previous issues raised on this forum or information gathered by Gradwell during their years of service. Unfortunately, mobile handsets is not one of their fortes and its definitely not one of mine either which leaves me somewhat bewildered about how to fix this problem.
Is there anyone else within the forums who can help out here as it seems to be a problem localised to the mobile handsets?

I thought some  members of staff had nokia e65 n95 mobile phones,  I was hoping that they could help and if not, what help could gradwell offer.  I am only trying to do it from home with my speedtouch 716wl v5 router

Can you let me know how you have gotten on with these?

Re: Random Cut outs

I've passed the info to Gradwell - i think this might need a tweak of your advanced settings, but this device seems to expose a lot more than I am use to, hence the reason this one is going over to the specialists  Cool
