Number Porting Question

On the whole I'm happy with the VOIP service, but I'm looking at other options right now too - mostly the Vodafone OneNet Express service, which gives you five landline numbers delivered straight to a mobile handset without extra costs for forwarding etc.
I know I can port numbers, eg my BT landline number, into the VodaFone service, but is it possible to port the number that PlusNet have given me for the VOIP service to another provider too?
I'll stress this isn't a specific problem with the VOIP service from PlusNet, just looking at more efficient and unified communication solutions.

I don't believe so, numbers that are allocated by voip providers remain their property unlike your landline number which you have the right to port.
