Re: Hacking the voyager 10v

I'm away form home at the moment with limited internet access so it is not easy to help. I have managed in the past to get a Voyager 10V working with the PLusNet voip. You should find this link useful http://www.voipuser.org/forum_topic_5206.html

Re: Hacking the voyager 10v

Ok, try the proxy as sip.plus.net.
Failing that i'll check the settings on my 10v when I get home at the weekend.

Re: Hacking the voyager 10v

I've have a chance to re-look over the thread.
It looks like your 10V is registering properly.
A few things to check...
Does it show 'online' if you login to your account on voip.plus.net ?
Have you tried your account using a softphone such as x-lite ?
Do you have any credit on your account, even if you have any included minutes you can't make outgoing calls
unless your account is in credit.
Finally , are you sure its the 'engaged' tone, the tones on voip are quite often somewhat different
to those on a normal landline. Do incoming calls work ?
Hope that helps.

Re: Hacking the voyager 10v

Hi taras,
Sorry about the delay in replying but I've only just had chance to get out my 10V and try it...
These are my settings
Quote
TEL number    :  ******
Expire Time    :  3600
Status        :  Registration OK
Registrar      :  sip.plus.net:5060
Proxy          :  sip.plus.net:5060
Service Domain :  sip.plus.net
Outbound Proxy :  natproxy.plus.net:5082
Enable        :  Yes

I have my 10V set to 'Bridge mode' and to get an IP via DHCP but that shouldn't be significant as far as sip is concerned.
One thing you could try is to set the sip packet trace using 'sip set pktdump 1' That should then dump out all the sip packets to the telnet window and will show us whats happening when you try and make a call. Either post the output here ( with any public ip's / usernames removed ) or drop me a PM with the output and I'll look to see what's going on.

Re: Hacking the voyager 10v

There's nothing in that pktdump to indicate an attempt by the 10v to initiate a call. Is that all the log ? that looks like just the idle packets, there should be more than that when you try and make a call.
