Gradwell VoIP + Packet Size Issue

Hi All,
Just migrated one of my home lines from Griffin to Plusnet, and thought I should share a problem that I experienced, preventing me from making outbound calls on my Snom 360 with Gradwell.
I had the all default codecs listed under the RTP tab in my identity, and RTP encryption enabled which bumps up the packet size drastically. Example below is1224 bytes.
“Sent to udp:79.135.125.155:5060 at 11/11/2008 13:43:35:992 (1224 bytes): INVITE sip:07********@newsip.gradwell.net;user=phone SIP/2.0”
Griffin handled it fine, but Plusnet for some reason didn't. To resolve just disable RTP encryption and select fewer codecs.
Worth bearing in mind.
Regards,

Re: Gradwell VoIP + Packet Size Issue

Hey Matt - thanks for the info, nice to see that a Gradwell staff member has migrated to a Plusnet service.  Grin
