Configuring for N300IP and C300

Hi there
I'm very new to VoIP and I'm currently trying to setup a few phones on our account and we've purchased 1 Gigaset n300 and 4 Gigaset C300
I've plugged the N300 into our plusnet router and I'm having a lot of trouble getting it to work
I've configured the N300 shown in the images but when attempting to ring from one of the phones it's just a deadline?

Re: Configuring for N300IP and C300

You need the outbound proxy set to nat.plus.net and port 5082 instead of the proxy. I'm not at home to be able to check butI think you can leave the proxy blank or, if not, maybe set it to sip.plus.net and port 5060 .
Hope that helps

Thanks for replying, unfortunately it's still not working, I've just tried using Gradwell as a Profile but changing the address etc to plus net but it's not affected the line at all

As I said I'm not at home and so can't check the config on my Gigaset phone. There's a few people on here with Gigasets and I'm sure one of them will be along shortly to post an example config.

Hi Dantwist. My settings are in this thread http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,94015.msg789216.html#msg789216, they should work ok for you.
Bob
Edit, if that doesn't work, try downloading a softphone like X-Lite and see if you can get that working. That should narrow the problem down to a general one or one specific to your Gigaset.
