Best VOIP client

We have been using Zoiper (on Win7), which has been fine whilst it works. However we have had audio problems (on more than one PC) which are solved by exiting and restarting the application. Can anyone recommend an alternative client which is more reliable?

Re: Best VOIP client

I'm using X-lite 4 which seems OK.

Re: Best VOIP client

I'd go along with that for Windows.
I tend to only use softphones occasionally, most of my voip usage is via a hardware IP Phone.
Having said that I've used X-Lite and 3CX successfully on Windows. I use Twinkle on Linux and cSipSimple on Android.
Avoid SjPhone.

Re: Best VOIP client

If you see my early post on connecting to non-standard clients, although all my computers, phones, router are linux based, I am using a number of VOIP clients for PN's VOIPservice all of which seem to work fine, i.e. they work when I use them.
