BT 2700HGV VoIP Hack

There now seem to be a hack for the Business Hub http://www.idnetters.co.uk/forums/index.php?PHPSESSID=13e92d72ba1d1d2b2293020928204443&topic=23287.m... I've tried it but it is stuck at registering. Could be down to entering the incorrect data for User Domain Agent so thought I post here to see if anyone else can crack it.

Re: BT 2700HGV VoIP Hack

My initial thoughts would be the possibilities are
1) same as the registrar 'sip.plus.net'
2) the outbound proxy 'natproxy.plus.net. ( with and without :5082
3) the realm 'newsip' ( or possibly 'newsip.plus.net' )
4) blank
Not a lot of definite help there I'm afraid as I guess you've probably tried most of those already...

Re: BT 2700HGV VoIP Hack

Yes I had tried all of them. The problem is the page to setup the servers have to be hacked each time as it's not saved. But I have got it to work but not sure what setting was causing the problem.
The server hacked page need to enter:
SIP Registrar Server = sip.plus.net
User Agent Domain = newsip
and for the Line settings
Phone Number = Extension Number (I believe this was the one that got it working, I had already used newsip but entered the telephone number. When I used newsip and the extension number it worked)
Username = Extension Number
Password = Password

Phone Number = Extension Number

That sounds possible, I used to have my v5 2700 working with Sipgate and checking the configuration I have my sip id ( extension number ) in both Phone number and Username. You would have thought that only the username was significant but maybe not.
TBH I gave up with voip on my v5 because of echo problems, I got a Siemens C475IP phone which I use on the PlusNet voip now.
