AARGH! Password reset on plusnet portal, Huge flaw in the plan

heres the problem...
i enter my e-mail address and what i think is my password
"Incorect login details"
so i try again with a different password...
"incorrect log in details"
try virtualy all e-maill and password combinations i can think of
"incorrect login details"
then i click on "have you forgotten your password?"
I enter my e-mail address so the password can be re-sent, this is followed by something thats deffies logic
"Sorry, the system has encountered an error: You must be logged in to access the Gradwell webservice."
in case it isnt obvious the reason why i cant log in is because i cant get the password/email combo correct, so to get  a password reminder i must log in, but i cant log in.  someone hasnt thought something throug correctly.

That will be a problem! I'll highlight that to gradwell. I've had to reset your password for your login and the password you use to authenticate your sip phone / softphone. You should have the details in your inbox now.

I've seen some odd errors generated by software/web services in my time but that one takes the cake/biscuit/whatever.
Developer's humour perhaps?

Gradwell cant seem to replicate it which is a strange one - it doesnt seem to be happening now so maybe a temporary glitch. I'll re-open an investigation if it happens again.
