If you havent already got this then go here, it is a handy little proggie that looks through all the routers and tell u everything u need to know about where the fault lies:

Thanks Alan. I have just downloaded and installed the program.
I am very impressed by it's facilities, it looks like a brilliant tool.

Sounds like a good one, but with a current download speed of just 5.8kB/s, I could be some time before I find out. Still what should I expect from 512k ADSL...60k? Surely not?! It is at least .4kB/s quicker than my 56k dial-up ;-)
