Hi all, I have just came over from freeserve anytime to plusnet BB, for the first few hours everything was great, but I have noticed that web pages are loading with small x's where there should be a picture. It's not all websites and it seems to be pretty much at random. Are there any browser setting's that I need to change, or has any one had any similar problems. It didn't happen when I was on dial-up, my os is win 98se and I have all the latest patches installed for IE (version 6). Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried right clicking the 'x' and selecting show picture?

In addition, Freeserve sometimes uses a proxy based cache to speed up loading of pages. This may also be affecting your web browsing. Have you removed this setting from internet explorer?

If your not sure, go into internet explorer. Select Tools and then Internet Options. Do you still have freeserve listed?

Also in Internet Options:
General, delete temporary internet files (clear the cache)
and check Advanced, Multimedia settings
