Is that the sync speed or actual downloand speed as measured by the BT speed tester?

Are you sure that there are no programs such as P2P that could be uploading data as you are testing.

Upload speed for max is up to 432Kbs, upload speed for Max Premium is up to 832Kbs. Both of those is the speed you router syncs at and not necessarily the actual throughput speed you will get. Just like downstream sync speeds it is affected by line conditions.

Sorry Peter, but I beg to differ on the MaxDSL upload speed.
AFAIK MaxDSL gives up to 8128/448 Download/Upload.

Yep, up to 448 on Max, 832 on MAx Premium and 800 on LLU. Actual sync speed though will be determined by line length and line quality. Like the downstream the longer the line the lower the speed it will support.

The fastest upload I ever see on a speedtest is 384.

Probably about the max you can get when you discard ATM and TCP overhead.

It will vary on most products due to contention, line quality or general sync speed. You look to be on MAX dsl so the highest possible is 448 but as Dave advises it is likely you won't see any higher than around 370 - 380.
