settings for Dlink DSL-300t

Hey peeps,

Just signed up to plus.net, and finally when I am activated I need to setup my DSL modem that I have purchased.

I've got a D-LINK DSL-300t, and a D-LINK 624+ , I need connection settings for the dsl-300t if anyone knows them?

Are we running on vc or llc? and i'm given no choice over authentication mode.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated!

Kind regards

Gavin

cheers,

i'll check the settings, still waiting for bt to activate my adsl, it only took a day or two when I originally went through bt for broadband, so fingers crossed I wont be waiting any longer.

I've also got a QoS feature on here, thats currently set to ubr, i've used other adsl modems before which had more settings, and the lack of settings un-nerves me.

Heres a screen shot of my modem settings.

Let me know if I have anything wrong.

Cheers

Your settings are just fine Gavin, the setting you refer to stands for CBR (Continuous Bit Rate), UBR (Unspecific Bit Rate), or VBR (Variable Bit Rate)

Keep it set to UBR and you may want to up the MTU to 1478 as you will find 1400 a bit low
