RE: running a mud (multi user dungeon on my machine)

ok well it appears that it is indeed a adsl problem.

if i connect using my dial up - other ppl can connect to the mud happily.

so what is it i have to do wif my adsl for that to accept ppl connecting to my port 4000 ?

thanks

Hi there,
I would check things like your firewall settings, we don't block inbound traffic.

You say you're behind a router? And the MUD's running on port 4000?
How you do it depends on the router, but you need to configure your router so that all traffic to port 4000 is pointed to the IP of your computer (internal IP within your network).
