Not FUP, that's a surprise!

Are rDNS individual to the addesses of an 8 IP block or can you only have one for all of them?

As it currently stands they all resolve to nightkind.plus.com as standard I suppose. Not any big secret I guess. I'm confused a little by this. A lookup seems to suggest that there are 8 A records for the IP addresses. But how would that work with things like pinging by the name rather than IP address?

Tools like ping & traceroute will normaly perform a trace to the first address returned.

IP address blocks are all in the DNS as uername.plus.com and are returned in a 'round-robbin' - that's it!

If you register a .co.uk domain with PN (and pay up your quid-a-month - bargain!) then you can setup A and CNAME records for your domain.

Or register it elsewhere, and don't pay £1 a month.
