nobody can ping my new officeconnect 612! is it a configuration problem or else?
What do I have to do?

It's most likely a firewall, if i turn my off i can ping but if it's on i cannot...

It's when a remote computer tries to ping me! it doen't work! The router doesn't respond ! I was thinking of port forwarding but the ping is an ICMP command who doen't have TCP or UDP layer so no port!

I think what the reply (replyee?) meant was that when he turns his firewall off he can ping his router from an external PC Smiley

You router sound like it is configured to drop the packets and I wouldn't worry about it if everything else works. Unless of course you need to ping it for some reason...
