When you connect, in the connect window at the bottom of emule, can u double check for me please?

if u scroll the text up to where it says its connecting to the server and check that it doesnt say
"Cannot access port 4662, you are in LowID mode"

It does still connect, but yes, it will slow your downloads.

You need to have your modem/router forward port 4662 directly to your PC. Look for NAT in your modem docs.

See
http://www.edonkey2000.com/documentation/lowid.html

okeydokey, well i have a router,

the setup screens for it are here http://www.farina1.com/amx/

i added a new nat session called P00ter, then in the nat config added profile name P00ter, and ip , 10.0.0.6 which is the ip on my pc.
Thats right i guess?!
rebooted the router, and it still doesnt work....

do i have to add the ports on the Virtual Server page as well dya think? or any other ideas?

Seems so. Add TCP forwarding for 4662 to your machine. Then test it with the lowID link.
