Please help!

I've been with plus for about a month. About 60% of the time my connection is fine - I stay connected for hours on end no problems.

The other 40% of the time it is a nightmare - always dropping the connection, as frequently as every minute! Sometimes it comes straight back and other times it can take a few minutes to get connected again.

I can't see any pattern in the times I have a problem, some weekends fine, others not. Some evenings fine, others not?

Running Windows XP and have the Dynamode PCI modem supplied by Plus.

Have you attempted to follow the ADSL Troubleshooting FAQ in the Tutorial and FAQ forum?

And the ADSL wiring tutorial in the same place. i.e. make sure you are using the ADSL filter/splitter properly and it is being used for all normal phone equipment.

I replaced my PCI Modem with a modem/router a few weeks ago. Previously I had the same problems as you but now my connection is rock solid, I now use my laptop most of the time on a wireless connection.

Best thing I did was binning the PCI Modem...
